How we right wingers celebrate New Years Eve.

 By Donna Cole

Tonight, my husband and I will leave our opulent estate, in our armor plated limousine, to attend the vast right wing conspiracy's New Years Eve Ball, hosted by the wicked Koch brothers in their obscenely extravagant mansion built on a foundation of cash somehow stolen from the nation's poor.

The Journal covers for dysfunction in the black community, again. UPDATED VERSION

By Donna Cole

The following is a tragic story from the Milwaukee Journal, "Officials identify girl in fatal crash." The story details an auto crash that claimed the life of a 10 year old girl. The car was driven by the child's mother. As many MediaPolitical readers know, I also micro blog on MediaPolitical's Facebook page. At approximately 10 pm on Dec. 27th, I blogged about another angle of this tragic story. Here is that entire Facebook post;

Who really stole Baby Jesus ?

By Donna Cole

When a lawyer enters a courtroom to prosecute a crime, he or she must first provide evidence of the crime, then if necessary, provide a motive for this crime. I would like to submit to you the evidence of a crime, then discuss the motive for this crime.

A view from afar.

 By Donna Cole

Usually on the weekends, I look through foreign, mainly European newspapers to see the world from their perspective. With all the problems in Greece, those papers have become very interesting. In the Greek newspaper Kathimerini, I found this fantastic letter to the editor. It is concerning an article about extending retail shop hours in Athens.

Mother knows best ? Not hardly.

 By Donna Cole

Mark Bittman has one of the most unique jobs at the NY Times. He writes a political food column. Most food columnists write from a non-political angle, just what tastes good or bad and they have a dining section for this. But Bittman's column appears on the opinion page were he preaches the left wing gospel of food.

Remembrances of December 7th, 1941.

 By Donna Cole

Today being 70th anniversary of the Pearl Harbor attack, it inspired me to call my stepfather Ed. He is 86 and a World War II, Navy veteran, but he did not serve in the Pacific, nor was he at Pearl Harbor. So, I called just to ask him what it was like then, on the date that will live in infamy.

What is wrong with you people ?

By Donna Cole

After the dust began to settle from the '08 election, it became clear to many Conservatives that we had to work harder than we ever have before. We had to break our long silence. We knew we had to get our message out and make clear to our party what type of candidates we would tolerate. The success of this in the 2010 election cannot be denied.

HOPE is ALIVE ! Well, sort of......

By Donna Cole

 The NY Times reports good news,"Jobless Rate Dips to Lowest Level in More Than 2 Years ". Of course, most of the reduction in the unemployment rate is due to over 300,000 people giving up on looking for work. That is an intentional flaw in the government's equation for calculating the unemployment rate. The real unemployment rate is much higher as the Christian Science Monitor reports ;

Mr.Liberal, Please save us from ourselves !

  By D.C.

I have noticed that the NY Times uses it's Saturday edition to run op-eds about their Utopian urban planning fantasies. These liberal fantasies usually go something like this. We can only create true social equality if everyone is forced to live crammed into urban flats and totally dependent on public transit.

The NY Times' Solyndra Mess.

  By D.C.

The NY Times editorial board never ceases to amaze. One would think that an editorial titled "The Solyndra Mess" might be just a little critical of the President. Nope. It is the Republican's fault for trying to make a mountian out of a molehill.

The Legend of the Tory's Gold.

 By D.C.

Webster's dictionary defines the word legend as,"a story coming down from the past; especially: one popularly regarded as historical although not verifiable." I think the the following story would fit this definition.

Ann,Mitt and Me.

 By D.C.

I don't put much stock into dream interpretation. I generally think dreams are just your brain rebooting and have little or no meaning. But,dreams can be a way the mind deals with built up mental stresses. A perfect example of this is sex dreams. I don't think I need to explain what stresses those dreams deal with.

Guess what? Occupy Frisco wants free stuff too!

 By D.C.

I usually start most mornings by checking out Salon. This is the beginning of my daily acid trip through the liberal media.Salon offers a good barometer of what bug is up the left's behind on any given day.

Understandably, they have devoted a lot of page space to the Occupy squatters and freeloaders movement.I give Salon credit for very good coverage, especially if your looking for a bevy of idiotic quotes from the freeloaders. This story today does not disappoint.

The Non Existent Conscience of Liberals

  By D.C.

I have come to believe one of the key differences between liberals and Conservatives is how their minds work.Part of a child's growing/learning process is developing a conscience.A toddler is basically selfish,it's why they throw tantrums, yell, scream and act out.As many children grow older they begin to develop their conscience and the acting out ends. But all children do not fully develop this. These children grow into adult liberals.

My thoughts on the CBS/National Journal debate and Michele Bachmann.

 By D.C.

I don't mean to beat a dead horse, but just in case you don't know my opinion, let me take this buggy whip and be sure all signs of life have vacated this pony.I do not like these debates, they do nothing but humor the liberal media by giving them something to rip on in the pages of the N.Y. Times.

Thursday, November 10, 2011

I am done with these debates, and here is why you should be too.

  By D.C.

I have had a long debate with myself today about discussing last night's Republican/CNBC debate.I also debated this with my husband today.I called him on his 30 minute lunch break and tried to engage him in this debate.

Alex Pareene,a resident Marxist writer at the leftist smear rag Salon.com,has a new e-book titled "A Tea People's History".Pareene takes a satirical look at what he believes is a revisionist view of history by Tea Party supporters. It is a dry and unfunny liberals attempt at comedy.

The New Occupy Entitlement Program.

After watching the Occupy squatters movement for the better part of two months,I have come to a conclusion as to what it is really all about. It is not a political movement or a protest. It is a new entitlement program.

Some thoughts on Herman Cain.

 By D.C.

We all know the left despises the four Conservative Supreme Court Justices, but which one do they hate the most? Clarence Thomas. Why? He is no more Conservative than any of the others. They hate him because he is black and a Conservative.Liberals, black or white, have a visceral reaction of hatred when confronted by a black Conservative.

The Most Transparent Administration in History is Rather Cloudy.

 By D.C.

11% of Republicans support what?

 By D.C.

This L.A.Times story,"Democrats drive drop in support for healthcare law in new poll",cites a new poll that shows over half of Americans now have an unfavorable view of Obamacare. What a shock. The supposed "big news" part of this story is a significant drop in support for socialized healthcare among Socialists, excuse me,I mean Democrats. That is not the "big news" part of the story, this is the "big news".

CONSERVATIVE WARNING! I'm going on a Civil Libertarian rant, again.

 By D.C.

I usually start out these posts like this.I know it drives my Conservative friends crazy when I go off on a Civil Libertarian rant. This recent rant of mine caused many Conservative readers to rip their hair out by the roots,"Liberty is not just a word.Even the ACLU gets that." My own thinking is,I can't understand why more Conservatives do not agree with me on these issues.I'm not sorry if my positions make Conservatives uncomfortable.

Occupy Oakland is Unoccupied.UPDATED VERSION w/photos and added comments.

New York's Mayor Bloomberg may not know how to deal with the Occupy Wall Street squatters in his city, but Oakland California's Mayor Jean Quan knew how to deal with the Obamaville hobo camp in front of her city hall. The title of this San Francisco Chronicle story begins to paint the picture,"Police clear Occupy Oakland camps, arrest 85".

Mr.President,Go right ahead and sow your lot with this crowd.

By D.C.

Sometimes you open a newspaper,or a page on your computer, and you see a headline that tells the whole story. In this case,it tells me that officially the Occupy Wall Street freak show has jumped the shark. This nugget of comedy gold comes from the L.A. Times,"Occupy Wall Street protesters serenaded by Pete Seeger".

Bird's of a feather.

By D.C.

When New Jersey governor Chris Christie endorsed Mitt Romney for president,it pretty much finished killing off the legends of Christie's mythical conservative street cred.It just proved what I have known all along,Christie is just another northeastern, big government,RINO.Which is why Romney was more than willing to accept the Christie endorsement because he is a northeastern, big government,RINO too.

Did the world really end on Friday and we just didn't notice?

 By D.C.

President Obama's "choices" have not been the "right" ones.

By D.C.

A poll conducted by USA TODAY/Gallop last weekend has some interesting results.I'm sure the reason they conducted this poll was to show that the "Occupy Wall Street" movement is gaining traction among the American people.I don't they got the results they wanted. Here's the USA TODAY story,"Poll: Washington to blame more than Wall Street for the economy."

I'm not on the Iran bomb plot bandwagon yet.

By D.C.

Many Conservative commentators have been quick to jump on the "Iranian bomb plot to kill the Saudi ambassador to the US" story bandwagon, citing this as another example of Iran's evil intentions.(Take a read of the Wall Street Journal.)

They say this is akin to an act of war and at least make the implication we must take military action against Iran for this.If the story is true, then perhaps it is an act of war.I question the truth of the whole thing.

Rethinking Schools:A shocking look into what is being taught in urban public schools.

Due to the upcoming Rethinking Schools' fundraiser on Oct.15th I am re-posting this piece.Originally posted Aug.28,2011.
By D.C.

Normally,I do not write about Wisconsin specific issues. But after learning (from Mark Belling on his WISN radio show) that Bill Ayers would be the featured speaker at an Oct.15th fundraiser for the Milwaukee based group "Rethinking Schools" and knowing Ayers' history as a left wing terrorist,I thought it would be worth a look into this group. What I found out from Rethinking Schools' own website was both shocking and very disturbing.

By D.C.

Here is a real gem of a story from the L.A.Times,"Debit card fees: Dick Durbin: Bank of America customers should 'vote with their feet'." The story is basically about Bank of America saying they are going to begin charging debit card users a $5 monthly fee.The reason is because of government regulations that they say will cost B of A around 2 billion dollars a year.Sen.Dick Durbin is one of the primary authors of the legislation that created the regulations.

Come on liberals,Now your playing the race card on baseball?

By D.C.

We all know the political left is on a constant search for racism and we on the right are constantly the ones who are accused of being the racists.I take it very personally when someone calls me a racist for my political beliefs.

It is very easy to call someone a racist and it is very hard to prove that you are not. There isn't any "non" racist test to take.Liberals know this and it is why they,on a near daily basis, play the race card on any variety of issues.

Which now brings us to baseball.Yes folks,America's pastime is racist.Well, not my hometown Milwaukee Brewers but the umpires. At least according to some moonbat liberals.

You can call me a "Square".

By D.C.

I went to the grocery store this morning to pick up a few items,14 items to be specific.I counted them because I wanted to use the "express",15 items or less, check out line.

The express line was a few folks deep and I got behind a fortyish man who, while very nicely dressed, badly needed a hair cut.I noticed this fellow had a lot more than 15 items. As the cashier rang up his items,I counted all 37 of them.

Of course,I didn't say anything, but it really bothers me when people do this.Just call it a pet peeve. You know, following the rules, having respect for the way someone chooses to operate their private business, dorky, nerdy, square things like that.

It's well worth a read.We could use a dose of the Japanese honesty in this country.

Liberty is not just a word.Even the ACLU gets that.

By D.C.

Glenn Greenwald has an excellent piece on Salon today,Sept.7,The ACLU on Obama and core liberties. In it he discusses a just released ACLU report,on the 10th anniversary of 9/11,and the on going loss of liberties by American citizens as a result of the "War on Terror".

Reflections on a Labor Day cookout.

By D.C.

This past Sunday,my husband and I were obliged by the rules of neighborly hospitality to attend our neighbor's "End of Summer"/Labor Day cookout. These are always small affairs but I know a couple of liberals will mouth off some political nonsense. These people just assume that everyone agrees with them.

The thrill is gone......And along with it,the tingle up the leg too.

By D.C.

I hear the grumblings from those on the left about Obama.I read the various op-eds such as Maureen Dowd's (New York Times,Sat.Sept.3) column,"One and Done?",expressing her frustration with Barry.

She is only one in a sea of liberal columnists expressing this same frustration with Barry.I heard the "Hill Crowd" go around saying,"We told you so." But,I haven't heard from these lefties about really throwing Barry overboard. Until now.

Happy Labor Day! Do not be surprised...w/video

By D.C.

Do not be surprised if the union goons act up on Monday. We will probably get some good rhetoric out of them. They are as mad at Obama as they are us.Well, they are upset with Barry, they just hate us.

All those government supported "green jobs"? That never came into existence? Those jobs? The jobs that were supposed to be unionized, government supported jobs? That didn't really work out for you.It was not real anyway..You bought that?

Card check didn't pan out for them. The thing with Boeing is falling apart. The government propping up GM is almost out of cash, again. The government funded, unionized, shovel ready jobs, were never really there in the first place.

We kicked their ass in Wisconsin.

They thought their union coffers would be filled with tax payer cash and it didn't happen. If I lived my life waiting on the government to provide my daily bread, then I reckon I'd be hacked off too.The real problem is that government has no bread because too many people ask for it already. The people who bake the bread are out of dough.

LOOSE ENDS: It's not easy being GREEN when you don't have a JOB;1-800-SPACE JUNK;Little Bobby's neighbor's house is a Dump;Is the Constitution now just a hot dog wrapper?

By D.C.

With the government's release today of horrible jobs numbers, zero growth in August,Daniel Politi files the following report on Slate,"Employment Surprisingly Stagnates in August".

Why is the liberal media always surprised when example after example of the failed economic policies of the president come to light? The only thing that I find surprising is that the situation isn't worse.

This is very rare, but I am going to (kind of) defend Barry on this one.

 By D.C.

Many folks have been upset that Barry O. wants to give a big speech to congress and that the time of this speech is going to conflict with the pre-game part of the Packers' season opener.I'm not going to rip on the president too much for this.

Little Bobby wants another Band Aid for America's Boo Boo.

By D.C.

"Little Bobby" Reich is at it again.Instead of concentrating on serious things,he has daydreamed away another day.In his column this week,"Obama's Jobs Plan:Will He Offer Policy Miniatures or Give 'em Hell? ",Robert Reich has some brilliant plans to improve the economy.

He has two plans for this. The first plan is known as Plan A.The second plan is known as Plan B.It's always good to have a secondary plan if the first plan is a failure.(I think I am channeling some old Monty Python's skit here.)

Madison moonbat finds George Will vapid.

By D.C.

In his Washington Post column last week,Aug 25,"Liberals’ Wisconsin Waterloo",George Will discusses the recall election results and the failure of the left.A Madison liberal moonbat takes exception with Mr.Will's column and writes a letter to the editor about his feelings. His letter is rather vapid.

This moonbats' letter,"Wisconsin’s fight is not over",is in the Aug.29th edition of the Post.He writes;

"It’s easy enough to stroll around Madison, Wis., these days and find empty-headed, left-leaning graffiti of the sort that George F. Will cited in his Aug. 25 op-ed column, “Liberals’ Waterloo.” But Mr. Will’s contention that recent recall elections of six Republican senators (two of whom were unseated) were an attempt to upend the will of Wisconsinites, as expressed in Gov. Scott Walker’s election, was just as vapid.

The L.A. Times has a "problem" with Rick Perry.

By D.C.

The L.A. Times editorial staff has a "problem" with Gov.Rick Perry. What a surprise. In the Sunday,Aug.28,Times,appears this editorial,"The problem with Perry".In this piece (of "blank"),the editors detail their so called "problems" with Gov.Perry and his vision for the country.

Let's go through some of these "problems" they have.Here they ask the set up question and begin to answer their own question;
"But who is Rick Perry, and what will Americans get if he's elected?"

"One thing they won't get is another George W. Bush, the other Texas governor to whom Perry is often compared. Perry is more rigidly conservative than Bush, more resistant to compromise and more anti-establishment. In his book, he positions himself as a model "tea party" Republican, and he rails against the scourges that most irk movement conservatives: federal incursion into states' rights, a government that seems only to expand and never to shrink, and an activist Supreme Court that sets policy rather than interprets the Constitution."

Rethinking Schools:A shocking look into what is being taught in urban public schools.

Pee Wee thinks we should protest on Labor Day.I couldn't agree with him more.

By D.C.

Well,we get our weekly "SMALL" dose of wisdom today from the "CRYING MAN IN ELEVATOR SHOES".You guessed it,the "SAWED OFF SHRIMP" and F.O.B. (Friend of Bill) ,"LITTLE BOBBY" Reich has posted his weekly column."LITTLE BOBBY" has an idea how we should spend our Labor Day weekend.
(If you haven't figured it out,"LITTLE BOBBY" makes horse jockeys feel tall.I fully admit to taking cheap shots at his "Napoleonesque" stature.Hey,at least I'm not calling him a racist or anything that isn't true.)

In "SHORTY'S" Aug 25th post,"This Labor Day, we need protests",he writes;
"Labor Day is traditionally a time for picnics and parades. But this year is no picnic for American workers, and a protest march would be more appropriate than a parade."

Woe there "LITTLE BUDDY",Just who should we be protesting? Why did I ask,I already know the answer."LITTLE BOBBY'S" short man complex has tripped off his anger with those "BIG" and rather "LARGE",evil money grubbing, corporations. How dare those "BIG" CEO's,in their "TALL" buildings, earn such "HUGE" profits! (No,I'm not going to stop with the cheap shots, this is what is known as a "target rich environment".)

Once again,I have to address liberals playing the racist card.I really wish I didn't have to do this,it gets a bit wonky.

 By D.C.

Well, liberal hit man and hack journalist,Steve Kornack, news editor at Salon is at it again. His article today,Aug 24,"The "redneck-blackneck" politics of the Deep South",is yet another article saying all conservatives are white and racist.

Mind you,Kornack will not come out and say it.He buries it in his article, like all liberals do,all mixed up in ivory tower, high mined liberal speak.I call it NY Times speak.

Kornack could have just saved himself a lot of time by just writing,"All conservatives are white and racist, the end.".It doesn't come as a shock to me,I read a lot of liberal media and on a daily basis I read some liberal telling me that I am a racist.

"Darth Cheney" unmasked.

By D.C.

The former Vice President and boogie man of lefty wingnut conspiracy theories,Dick Cheney,is releasing his memoir,"In My Time",on Aug.30th.

In a NBC interview to be aired on Aug.29,Cheney has been quoted as saying of the book,"There are going to be heads exploding all over Washington."

Considering how many moonbat liberals heads he has already caused to explode,I bet his book will be great.

A Time Machine to the Future of Obamacare.

By D.C.

 Imagine it's 2018,You open the morning "paper" on your i-Pad.This is the headline story;

Aug.24,2018-Washington D.C.  "Health Care Plan Falls Ill." The model healthcare system is overwhelmed and struggling for cash.

The nation's respected health-care system is highly socialized. It’s also on the verge of going broke.

Now, hobbled by mismanagement, the system has become overwhelmed by a burgeoning population that includes an increasing number of elderly and new immigrants who rely on the public system for care.

Where ya' been Joe?

By D.C.

NY Times columnist Joe Nocera is a reliable liberal excuse maker. In his Aug 22nd column, "How Democrats Hurt Job Creation" he pretends to give Obama a little static about his National Labor Relations Board and their holding up Boeing from opening it's new factory in South Carolina.

The Daily Beast refutes,,,,,,The Daily Beast?

By D.C.

The Daily Beast's Michelle Goldberg,on Aug.14th,posted the following artcle,"A Christian Plot for Domination?". It is a typical liberal hit job.It goes something like this,OOOooooo the right wing wacko christian boogyman is coming to get you,be afraid, very afraid. It's a liberal scare tactic,I have discussed this in previous posts. It's not surprising coming from Goldberg or The Daily Beast.

What is surprising is that,on Aug.21,The Daily Beast posted "Christian Dominionism is a Myth" by A.Larry Ross. He rips apart Goldberg's article fact by fact and rips her for putting her own "personal (liberal) perspective" in the article.

Same old dog,same old tricks.

By D.C.

Much has been made over the weekend about Rep. Maxine Waters' comments that the Tea Party should go to hell. She was doing what she always does, shes giving red meat to rabid dogs.

I watched the video.I saw the "purple shirts" (SEIU goons) all sitting at the front with their pre-printed paper plates saying "Our Plate is Empty".

D.C.'s BLOG HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE WEEK OF AUGUST 15TH TO AUGUST 20TH.

   TOP SHOT # 1:

 I know in a few days the New York Times will be reporting things like this,"During nature walk,President saves flower from climate change destruction and shows personal concern." The first couple paragraphs will read something like this;

"We watched from a distance as the handsome president walked with a calm and knowing purpose along this nature trail. Then spotting a seemingly rare flower,he bends to one knee to gaze upon the flower's beauty but not so close as to damage the fragile Bellis perennis.
After admiring this wonder of nature,he rose in a majestic manner to continue on his walk along this shining path of 100 year old natural riverstone, built by chinese slave labor for a millionaire railroad baron in the 1880's and now owned by the Bureau of Land Management,he noticed his shoe was untied. He had a furrowed brow and showed an expression of concern."

Obama's "Brave New Vacation" and the L.A. Times liberal bias.

By D.C.

I am not going to knock Barry O. too bad for going on a vacation.First of all,in August,Washington is a political ghost town.Every congress member, every senator and all their staff are gone back to their home districts or on vacation somewhere other than Washington D.C..

Second,as long as Barry hangs around D.C. the economy keeps going to crap and the Krugman types keep making excuses for Obama.

It couldn't hurt for him to leave town for a couple weeks and just not say anything.

Moonbat liberal worried to death her daughter might grow up and become a republican.

By D.C.

OK,OK,let me stop laughing here.I read this article back on Aug.7th when it was first in Salon.I had forgot about it until today when I was doing some research for something else and re-discovered this gem.
Sue Sanders writes in Salon the following comedy bit,I mean honest article,What if my daughter grows up to be Republican?.

The left's Tea Party attack machine is full steam ahead.

By D.C.

On Ezra Klein's Washington Post blog,Aug.17th,he has this post What beliefs predict a Tea Partier? .It's one of those liberal "attack the Tea Party things" that I read on almost a daily basis. It's basically to say to republican pols "Stay away from those nutty Tea Partiers or you'll never get elected".

He cites some egghead liberal professors article from the day before in the N.Y.Times titled Crashing the Tea Party ,by David Campbell and Robert Putnam.(One of the authors is a professor of public policy at Harvard, that gives me great faith in his even handed take on the Tea Party.Didn't the president go to Harvard? Together the authors have a book titled,"American Grace: How religion divides and unites us",which I am sure is a glowing endorsement of religion in American life.)

Black Caucus tired of making excuses for Obama.

By D.C.

Byron York for the Washington Examiner reports that the Congressional Black Caucus is tired of making excuses for Obama.

Why liberals will never understand the Tea Party.

By D.C.

Last week Sen.Harry Reid told the Las Vegas Review Journal newspaper that he expects the Tea Party to fade away.Once again we see yet another example that liberals just fundamentally don't understand what the Tea Party is really all about.

What has liberals and the media so confused is they have never seen conservatives organize, hold rallies and promote political candidates in this way. They see it as a passing fad, something that won't last. But here is where they get it wrong. The Tea Party has always been here,it was referred to in the 80's as the silent majority.Sometimes it was just conservatives, libertarians or right wingers.A name is just a name, call it what you will but the philosophy, the principles of a smaller and responsible government are at it's core.People who now identify as Tea Party were there in 1980 to elect Reagan, they were there in '94 to elect a republican house majority,we have always been here.

As this gallop poll shows, since '92 conservatives have consistently been roughly 40% of the population, liberals roughly 20%.Those 40% are the Tea Party.

Liberals like to think that the Tea Party are folks who reject Obama because of his race and not so much his politics. The Tea Party is not just a rejection of socialist democrat policies(which is a huge part of it),it was a rejection of what the republican party had become.

Over the last 30 years the democrat party has moved further and further to the left. The media has always shown the democrats as the moderates and the republicans as the extremists. The republican party answered this by moving more and more to the center.Trying to go along to get along.I think most republicans have now faced the realization that the mainstream media is never going to give them a fair shake.

With the democrat party moving more to the left, the center kept moving to the left. The republicans kept moving this way to the point that we ended up with a bunch of big government RINOS.The Tea Party is a movement trying to move the center back to the center. In some cases these RINOS had to be put out to pasture,in other cases we had to drag them(kicking and screaming for some) back to the right, back to the root of what it means to be a conservative(and/or a libertarian).

It's why the media went nuts when Tea Party conservatives held up the debt ceiling deal. They are not used to us standing up.In the past the RINOS would have just rolled over in exchange for a few shiny beads(pork). This is what liberals can't mentally compute. They think everybody wants "free" goodies from government.

The Tea Party doesn't want anything from government(other than less of it),we don't want the shiny beads. We do want government to exercise it's constitutional duties,be responsible with the people's tax money and generally stay out of our lives (Such as the whole light bulb thing).

Another fundamental thing the left gets wrong about the tea party is they think it's all a fabrication of big money. That it is not a genuine popular uprising. They think it's a top down movement. As Nancy Pelosi famously said that the Tea Party is just astroturf and not a true grassroots movement.

Yes,as the Tea Party grew conservative organizations came in to organize rallies and these sorts of things, but it also gave birth to many new groups that were a response to the people. The Tea Party people came first, then the organizations came about, true grassroots.

The reason Nancy couldn't get it is because she(and the rest of the left) have no real experience with true grassroots movements.Just like liberals want a centralized big government all left wing groups are top down. The left comes up with an idea, they create an organization, with pre determined leaders and pre determined political issues. Then they promote it,seek people to join up and it's always about getting something from the government (money, programs, etc). There is no such thing as lefty grassroots. The organization comes first and the people are just followers.

The Tea party is exactly the opposite, the people were first, the organizing came second. This turns the left's brain upside down, they just don't get it,they can't mentally process it.It's why they still refuse to believe the Tea Party is an genuine grassroots movement because they have never seen(or been part of) a genuine grassroots movement.

(I would note that some of the lefty environmental movements, mainly NIMBY issues, things like saving a local forest from logging, are true grassroots. These are always small, single issue and local. These are not national or large popular movements.)

If you haven't noticed, for the last 6 months or so the liberal media has taken a new tack in dealing with the Tea Party. They produce skewed polls saying the Tea Party is growing more and more unpopular,it's being rejected by "mainstream" Americans, the Tea Party is dying off like Harry Reid said,it was just a fad, etc. They are trying to paint a picture that the Tea Party are just a few dying off extremists,a politically dead movement.

Just because we don't invade public buildings to become bongo drum banging, dope smoking squatters doesn't mean we are not still here.We have always been here, the gallop poll I referred to earlier proves this.

All the negative media only proves this to me,they, being the liberal establishment, fear us.We are knocking their gravy train off the tracks. For all the hope and change talk they don't want change, they want the status quo. It's the Tea Party thats bringing the change and this is what they fear.

If the Tea Party has been so marginalized then I would like the left to explain what happened here in Wisconsin. The organized left threw everything they had at us.They literally blew up a political nuclear bomb here and they lost. The republicans survived.

Maybe now the Tea Party has to a certain degree gone back to what we were before, the silent majority, but we are still here and still motivated by our beliefs.Wisconsin is proof of this and I don't need a poll to tell me that I am wrong.I got eyes, ears and a brain,I know how to use them and they tell me all I need to know.
Also,if we are to believe that the Tea Party has gone the way of the horse and buggy or the VHS tape then why are they now creating their own version of the Tea Party?

Big shot lefties never go away too long, they just hide under a rock until the smoke clears then reemerge with some new facade on the same old thing. In this case it's Van Jones.Jones is starting up a liberal alternative to the Tea Party.Note I said that Jones was starting it.

On June 24th,Ari Melber writes in The Nation blog,"Van Jones Returns,Launches Liberal Alternative to the Tea Party".I'll spare you the whole post but here are some of the highlights;

"Over one thousand liberal activists gathered in Manhattan on Thursday night, in a bid to counter the Tea Party and elevate a progressive who can tangle with the Becks and Bachmanns that dominate today’s outraged populism.  The event launched "Rebuild the Dream," a MoveOn-backed effort to organize around economic issues.
The crowd that filed into Town Hall in midtown Manhattan was a mix of progressives old and young, in work clothes and casual attire. While they mingled and waited for music by The Roots, a second event was staged in a nearby press room. There reporters and bloggers heard from the would-be leader of a liberal Tea Party -- the attorney, author and former Obama official Van Jones.  Bowing to the lexicon of today’s Left, however, it was clear that Jones was not announcing a “campaign,” (despite the flashy website, social media strategy and PR campaign). He was not launching a lobbying “coalition,” either, (even though the effort was backed by MoveOn, labor unions, USAction, TrueMajority and "many others to be announced").   The event promised the beginning of a movement."

Hmmmm? When I think of grassroots, big union money is always the first thing that comes to mind.Sure, yes, thats what I think.

It goes on.

"According to Jones and MoveOn, the driving forces behind the launch, "Rebuild The Dream" is the Left’s collective effort to use grassroots organizing and new media to challenge the rhetoric coming out of Washington and strengthen the middle class."

When speaking of Jones,MoveOn head Justin Ruben says,"He’s a great communicator and we need more great communicators.”

And there is more,

"Ruben and Jones say they are following the Tea Party's strategy. “The thing that we’ve been doing a terrible job of is telling our story,” says Ruben. Highlighting how conservatives managed to unite Birthers, tax-phobes, and social conservatives under one ideological and—perhaps more importantly—rhetorical brand, Ruben said "Rebuild The Dream" could play a similar role for multi-faceted liberalism. It will be a “movement service organization,” he said, with Jones as a visionary -- not director -- and an opportunity for activists to unite under a “common banner, both literally and figuratively.” There will be "American Dream House Meetings" in mid-July, convened through MoveOn, to gather input on the effort's goals."

Then finally this,

"Some major principles, however, have been predetermined."

Oh really? Predetermined?

On August 15th,Michelle Goldberg writes in The Daily Beast an article titled "The Liberal's Tea Party." She interviews Van Jones in his Washington D.C. office. She tells of Jones recounting during the election when a woman told John McCain she thought Obama was an arab and McCain said,"No,he was a good decent family man."(Or something to that effect)

Somewhere during all this Jones begins to sob and cry,and says its "those people",like the woman who said Obama was an arab, who took over John McCain's party and are now trying to take over the country,in tears and banging on his desk he shouts,"We can't let them!"

It was a major league load of bullcrap.I wish Goldberg would have asked Van Jones what his salary is for running this sham group.I bet he is making out pretty well.

Goldberg goes on to write about a July 28th rally that Jones' group had at the capitol. They had their pre printed signs and tee shirts,it had all the hallmarks of a union organized rally.A whole 400 people showed up.I wonder how many of those were paid to be there. They seemed to blame the low turnout on the fact it was a very hot day.

I just want to ask you a couple of questions. What the hell is grassroots about this? How is this in any way, shape or form anything like the way the Tea Party came about?

The answer is this,it's not.

They have no clue as to how or why the Tea Party even exists and they never will.

Loose Ends;"Family Guy",a lunatic congresswoman's blast from the past,a crying man in elevator shoes, does Justice Roberts own stock in fast food?,an un-Constitutional law professor and Soap.

By D.C.

My husband loves the FOX network's cartoon "Family Guy." I guess it is a mental release for him from his stressful job.So,the other night he was watching and the "Family Guy" Peter's two teenage kids,Meg and Chris,had the following exchange;

Meg,"Chris, why don't you have any money? I thought you had a paper route."

Chris,"I do have a paper route but I took a sabbatical to work on my poetry."

Meg,"How's that working out for you?"

Chris,"Not so good."

For some reason that reminded me of this Nancy Pelosi classic from 2010.

From back in May,2010,you can read Mary Katharine Ham's (from The Weekly Standard) take on Pelosi's comments here.

Now that it looks like the constitutionality of Obamacare will be settled by the Supreme Court, the sawed off shrimp and F.O.B.(Friend Of Bill ) Robert Reich sees the high courts ruling striking down Obamacare as a foregone conclusion(I agree with him). You can read his whining and crying about how the democrats screwed the whole deal up on Salon here.

To save you the time,he says what liberals always say when something they do fails(which happens pretty often),they didn't go far enough,if only they had done more, made the program larger, spent more money,if only it had been bigger.

He says if they had only made Obamacare single payer instead of an individual mandate it would have been constitutional. He also blames this on Obama and the dems caving into republican pressure to change from the single payer to the individual mandate. What was that Little Robbie? I don't remember many republicans supporting Obamacare either way.Who knows what he is smoking now.

Just like they didn't go far enough with the stimulus, just like they want more taxes, more regulation,it's always more, more, more. More government, less liberty,is always the liberal answer.

(For the record,Congressmen And Senators Who Voted For Obamacare, one republican congressman voted yes,I couldn't remember if Olympia Snowe did or not.So the democrats did not have to give up the single payer to get any republican votes, they didn't need those votes anyway, once again Reich is full of crap but whats new about that?)

So now the fate of Obamacare,at least the individual mandate part, will be decided by the Supreme Court.

Will they rule in favor of Nancy Pelosi's starving artists or the Constitution and personal liberty?

Is Nancy Pelosi an art lover?

Will Chief Justice Roberts take the brush out of a future Picasso's hand and give him a spatula to flip burgers for the man?

What does it say about a former law professor(who happens to be the president) that his signature legislation could(will) be struck down because it's unconstitutional ?

Hopefully we will know the answers to these questions in about a year, but I got a good feeling on this one.

This was a little before my time but the following video clip seemed to fit at the end of this post.

Cut the check Warren...

By D.C.

In last Monday's N.Y Times Warren Buffett has a an op-ed piece where he continues his same old song and dance that he and all the other evil rich don't pay enough taxes.Buffett has been saying this since at least 2007 when he said his secretary paid a a higher percentage of income tax than he does.
In Monday's op-ed,he says he paid $6,938,744 in payroll and income taxes(17.4% of his income).I will not argue with Mr.Buffett that our tax system needs a major overhaul,I doubt we would agree what the rates should be,but lets put that aside.
Hey Warren, nothing is stopping you from paying more. Why don't you step up,be a leader to all those other greedy rich folks, just write the check. You could be the first, break the ice, once you jump in all the other rich folks will follow along.(Yeah right, sure they would.)
You paid roughly $7 million in taxes last year, you don't think it's enough, double it,triple it,quadruple it.Go ahead, put your big money where your big mouth is and cut a check to Uncle Sam for $42 million.More? Write it out for $60 million.I mean, don't be too greedy Warren.
This is the fact,Mr.Buffett sowed his lot with the democrat party years ago and he is an Obama supporter. He goes around saying these things to give Barry O an example of a rich person who supposedly doesn't pay enough in taxes. It adds more fuel to the democrats class warfare bit.
I don't think 'ole Warren pays too little in taxes,I think the government spends too much of Warren's tax money.I don't know how many billionaires there are in America, but lets say there are 3000 of them.Take those 3000 billionaires and say they all pay Warren's jacked up rate to $60 million in tax. That's only 180 billion.Do you know how fast the government blows through $180 billion?
I'd rather have that $180 billion invested in the economy than wasted by the government. If you took that $180 billion and just put it in a bank at .001% interest,it would benefit the country more than turning it over to Barry so he can re-distribute it.
This is another fact, tax all the rich folks income at 100% and it might cover the government spending for a year then where would you be the next year? For the government to continue spending and growing at the rate Obama has us at now,the rich can't bail out the government only us middle class taxpayers can.Thats who Obama really wants to raise taxes on,us regular working folks and small business owners(the real job creators).
I'd like to ask some of Warren's investors if they agree with his tax proposals.Warren doesn't want to pay any more in taxes. He knows that even if Obama could magically raise these taxes he wouldn't because the rich liberals would revolt and Obama (and the democrat party) would loose a major funding source.
If Obama could magically raise these taxes it wouldn't be long before Barry got one of those 3 AM phone calls Hillary warned us about. It would be from a very hacked off Warren Buffett.
On this whole class warfare/raise my taxes stuff,Warren is full of crap and he knows it.

Obama is not Carter,He could just quit like L.B.J..Former Lt.Gov.Margaret Farrow tells Jeff Wagner why she thinks it's possible.

By D.C.

Today on the Jeff Wagner Show,on WTMJ 620,he began a segment by talking about 3rd party groups running ads against the flea bag recall candidates tying those democrats to Obama and his failed policies.Mr.Wagner asked the question was Obama now becoming a liability to other democrats seeking office in 2012 and is this something to look forward to.

Former Lt.Gov. Margaret Farrow called in to offer her thoughts on using this line of advertising, which she thought would be very effective.Surprisingly, she didn't compare Obama to Carter as a one term failure president but to Lyndon Johnson.

Lt. Gov Farrow did admit she was "going way out on a limb here" but she went on to say she saw similarities between Johnson reading the writing on the wall and not seeking re-election and that Obama will see that same situation and may take the same way out by not seeking re-election.

I don't think Jeff Wagner was quite ready to go as far as Lt.Gov.Farrow on this idea.Wagner sets up the subject and Lt.Gov.Farrow calls in at roughly 5 minutes in,you can listen to the podcast  here.

It is an interesting idea to discuss in the world of hypothetical questions. What if Obama really is as smart as liberals say?(I seriously doubt it.) What if Obama really does care about the advancement of progressive ideology above his own personal interest?(Would Lenin have stepped aside to see the advancement of the "revolution"?) What if he does read the writing on the wall early in 2012 and decides his best bet is to not seek re-election this time around? He could walk away with a sizeable war chest(to use later),he is still young(In 12 years he will be 62ish),he could go around for the next 8 or 12 years doing lefty stuff and plot a return.

If he runs for re-election and looses he would never get the democrat nomination again.Maybe if he quits now then comes back later the liberals will have forgot about the bad parts of the past and only remember the hope and change garbage. He could be a changed man then, with even more wisdom than he supposedly has now. That would be according to liberals.
Liberals usually always forgive their members screw ups.You know the "Weiner" will end up on some TV show once he politically cools off in a year or so and in ten years he might be the mayor of New York.

Part of this hypothetical is who would we rather run against? Obama has a record to attack,Hillary does not.Hillary is the only other person they have so she would be his replacement.I will take my chances running against the sitting president and his horrible record.

I guess it was many factors that led LBJ to not seek re-election,perhaps his personal honor, maybe he was such a sore looser he didn't even want to be in a fight he knew he was going to loose.Maybe he was a defeated man.I refuse to believe the liberal idea that Johnson fell on his sword for the good of the democrat party and thus the nation.Maybe the democrat party pushed him on the sword.I don't know about that but I do know this,Obama's ego is as vast as the universe.

Obama can't admit failure.I don't even think Obama thinks he has failed,if he even looks at polls or the results of his policies, he probably tells himself that somebody else screwed him over and it wasn't his fault. You know, this is Bush's mess and Obama's broom ain't big enough to clean it up,the republicans are holding him back, etc, etc, insert another bull crap excuse for liberal policy failure here.

I know the type of guy,Obama plays basketball and golf.I don't know if he is any good or not,but in Obama's mind he could play in the NBA or win the Masters and using this logic he just thinks being the president is easy and he should naturally be the greatest ever.He probably is confused by the fact people do not recognize this greatness in him now,the way they did when he was at Harvard and during the rest of his over rated, lack luster career.

Obama is like an athlete who is all washed up and  refuses to quit. I think most Wisconsinites know at least one of those.Hopefully we can "release" Obama at the end of next season.

Liberal Conspiracy Theory Proves True.....Well,sort of.......

 By D.C.
Aug,13th,2011

Being born and raised in the south I come from a family of NASCAR fans.My mother, besides being a race fan is a liberal (I still love her,we are close, she just thinks I'm nuts) and when I was a kid she really hated Ronald Reagan.
She had all sorts of various conspiracy theories about Reagan, such as some secret deal Reagan cut with the Iranians to beat Carter. One of these theories she would rant about, and she did so for many years after Reagan was out of office, was about the 1984 Firecracker 400 NASCAR race at Daytona on July 4th.
Reagan was on his re-election campaign and he attended the race.Racing great Richard Petty(and active republican) won the race,it was his 200th career win. After the race,Reagan,Petty and some other drivers had a picnic and they ate Kentucky Fried Chicken. You can read Petty's version of the story here.
Well,my mother was (and still is) convinced that this whole race was rigged for Petty to win.She also happened to not like Petty so it all fit into her theory. The conspiracy being that Petty won the race, then hung out with Reagan eating fried chicken and this was to make Reagan look appealing to southern voters.
Now,sure it was a photo op and Reagan was running for re-election so you can't blame him there but there is no way NASCAR rigged that race.Saying that NASCAR rigged that race would be the same as saying the Chicago Bears threw the NFC championship game so the Packers could go to the Superbowl and make Scott Walker look better. It doesn't add up.
So a few nights ago I was telling this story to my husband,we were laughing about it and I just thought to google Reagan Petty Daytona. There it was!!! The photo, the proof of the conspiracy !!! Reagan was guilty !!! At least guilty of eating KFC...
I emailed the pic to my mom and told her after all these years she was right, well sort of....

Here is the photographic evidence of the conspiracy.(Note, even at an event like this that Reagan had on a sport coat. For those who don't know, thats Richard Petty on Reagan's right side, photo left, the dude with the sunglasses.)

The Euro Trash want your money.

By D.C.
Aug.12,2011

Thinking of visiting the old country? You better go soon because as of January 1st,2012 the European Union's ETS standards go into effect for airlines.
"ETS" stands for "Emissions Trading Scheme". I don't know about you,but when I hear the word "scheme" I think rip off..And that is what it is,a rip off.
So anyway, the E.U. is going to impose their carbon tax on all aircraft flying into and out of the E.U.
To use a phrase from our president, your airline tickets to Europe will "necessarily skyrocket."
You can read about it  here .
The fact of the matter is this. This is a tax, taxes are passed on to consumers,so we the people will pay for them out of our pocket.None of these carbon taxes will ever be spent to combat the imagined "crisis" of man caused global warming (Which does not exist). No trees will be planted,no nasty carbon swept up,nothing like that. The money will simply go into the government stash and pay for bigger government.
No liberal really believes in global warming, carbon crap,or actually cares about the environment, they want the money and this is just another "scheme" to get your money and give it to somebody who didn't earn it.

"American Exceptionalism" and the dangers of progressivism.

by D.C.,May,5,2011

This socialist democrat party, under the leadership of Hussein Obama and the wicked witch of the west Nancy Pelosi have shown for all to see their true progressive/social justice ideology,,,and they have been roundly rejected by the American people at every level of government, but progressives have no respect for the electoral process or the will of the electorate.

Oh,how I long for the days when the democrat party wasn't controled by America hating progressive socialists and was run by decent, god fearing,America loving types like Tip O'Neal....At least those democrats actually loved America and they understood what made America unique and special...It's called "American Exceptionalism"....This idea was never questioned by anyone on either political side,,at least until the democrat party was highjacked the fringe progressives and their straw man,Hussein Obama....

Shit, for what a god awful and very liberal president he was, even Jimmy Carter understood and believed in American Exceptionalism.(I question if he still does now) Bill Clinton was a shining example of American Exceptionalism, but he was last democrat politican to believe this,Hillary does not.

The progressives who control the democrat party now do not believe in the foundation of America under god,the Constitution or the concept of American Exceptionalism.Thats something that wasn't even debatable with an old school liberal democrat..

The fact that progressives don't believe in these ideas not only makes them unAmerican,it makes them very dangerous to this country and their ideology should not be given any merit.Progressivism should be exposed as the mental sickness it is.

They believe in an impotent American government that bows to the feet of unelected foreigners in the united nations, who believe that America should not only be equal with all other nations,we should be on our knees and begging for forgiveness because of our perceived past trangressions.(They achieve this by the destruction of the American currency value and burying America in an unpayable amount of debt.)Those perceived transgressions would be the worldwide promotion of the American values of democracy, equal justice and individual freedom.

These progressive ideas are in direct conflict with the entire concept of "American Exceptionalism",a concept that the founding fathers enshrined in the Constitution and is thus the foundation stone of the entire concept of America.

The Constitution not only compels us to live by American values here,it compels us to spread these ideas around the world, much the same way the Bible compels Christians to evangelize the word of Christ.

So as long as the Constitution exists,it keeps in check the cancerous spread of progressivism. This is the whole reason it is key to the progressive movement to eliminate the Constitution by means such as; ignore the Constitution,by liberal judicial activists, who I refuse to call judges because the word judge implies that their is some fairness, equality and respect for Constitutional law in their decisions, thus making the courts mearly a vehicle for the promotion of progressive ideology such as rulings to remove the Christian version of god from public schools or forced busing to supposedly end racial segregation(forced busing had nothing to do with racial inequality, that was mearly their excuse,it's totally about the redistrubution of wealth) then those very same liberal judicial activists rule that those same public schools must respect islamic traditions, install foot baths and gender segregated muslim prayer rooms.

Discredit the Constitution through passing unconstitutional laws in the legislature, signed by the executive, laws which are then upheld by liberal judicial activist courts, such as firearms bans, government healthcare forced on the individual by illegal taxation or unchecked corporate regulation through forced worker unionization,a.k.a. card check.

Disrespect the Constitution through violations of constitutional law, such as overturning the results of fair elections through the judicial activist courts, when the executive branch refuses to enforce Constitutionally passed laws such as the Defence of Marrage Act or enforce constitutional mandates such as the protection of the nation's borders.

Destruction of Constitutional checks and balances on the executive by unconstitutional executive orders, such as the appointment of unaccountable czars and the creation of agencies beyond the check of congress like Obama's creation of a global warming panel that operates out of the executive budget and thus is beyond any congressional oversight, giving those czars and agencies unconstitutional powers such as levying taxes or creating rules such as the enforcement of carbon emissons rules through the E.P.A. without any legally passed law giving them such authority,or attacking sovereign nations without the consent of congress. Obama only needed the consent of the united nations to attack Libya,it never even crossed his mind to ask congress nor does he care for the approval of congress because he only needed the approval of foreigners.

The progressives promote their social justice ideology through the promotion of un American values such as the elimination of Christian values, the pledge of allegiance and respect for the American flag in public schools,by using those publicly funded schools to indoctrinate the youth of America into the ideology of socal justice by teaching such things as the totally discredited theory of man caused global warming, the use of contraception instead of abstence, advocating the use of mariguana, teaching children a lack of respect for the Constitution by twisting the meanings of things such as the 1st and 2nd Amendments, distorting history by painting the founding fathers as vicious white christian male chauvinist slave owners, by refusing to teach the idea that God might have created man or that America is one nation under God, instead they teach a denial of the existence of God,at least in a Christian sense .

By the destruction and enslavement of the working middle class through repressive and oppressive taxation in order to redistribute the nation's wealth to a permanent welfare/entitlement class of blacks, hispanics and illegal foreign tresspassers.

The more entitlements you give people the more poverty you create. One creates the other so it becomes a vicious never ending cycle. All one has to do is look at the black community to see this in action. This is a direct result of the progressive "great society" legislation from the 1960's.It didn't create much of a great society, only more poverty and dependence on government.

The redistribution of wealth is not only a morally corrupt ideology that flys in the face of the most basic of American values, that would be the idea of private ownership of property, that property being the money a person earns,it's just plain and simple theft.

By allowing non english speaking illegal foreigners to come here and run amuck, living off the social welfare system, disrespecting the American way of life with no enforcement of legal consequenses,i.e.deporting the criminals, yes they are criminals because they broke the law by illegally entering this country.

I refuse to call them immigrants, because the word immigrant implies a person who comes here with the intention of becoming an American by learning the language, respecting the laws and assimilating into American society, these illegal tresspassers come here with no such intentions.

By the progressive's cult of death through the abortion of the white Christian race.

Once Obama pulled back the curtain and revealed who Oz was,by putting us 3 trillion dollars in debt in less than 2 years with nothing to show for it other than the expansion of an already too big government, the American people rejected those ideas and the 2010 elections prove that...So,I am not alone in knowing what progressivism is and understanding the damage these people are actively trying to do to this country.

They are actively and with full knowledge of the consequenses of their actions trying to destroy the foundation of this country by destroying the value of the currency thus destroying the standing of the United States in the world and creating a permenant debter nation, destroying the Constitution and with it American Exceptionalism...with the ultimate goal of creating a socialist welfare state and removing any and all Constitutional rights of the individual.

So,remember, every time you vote for a democrat, you are actively supporting these goals.
