The Most Transparent Administration in History is Rather Cloudy.

 By D.C.

In this highly critical L.A. Times' editorial,"Obama's secrets",they point out how the Obama administration is seeking a change in regulations that would allow the government to deny the existence of documents sought through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request.

The New York Times' Editors reveal their Pathological Liberalism and it is Disgusting.

 By D.C.

The news print hustlers and ink pen assassins are at it again. The Marxist propaganda division of the New York Times, the editorial board, have come down from their ivory tower offices in the Big Rotten Apple to deliver one of the most disgusting editorials in recent memory.

11% of Republicans support what?

 By D.C.

This L.A.Times story,"Democrats drive drop in support for healthcare law in new poll",cites a new poll that shows over half of Americans now have an unfavorable view of Obamacare. What a shock. The supposed "big news" part of this story is a significant drop in support for socialized healthcare among Socialists, excuse me,I mean Democrats. That is not the "big news" part of the story, this is the "big news".

CONSERVATIVE WARNING! I'm going on a Civil Libertarian rant, again.

 By D.C.

I usually start out these posts like this.I know it drives my Conservative friends crazy when I go off on a Civil Libertarian rant. This recent rant of mine caused many Conservative readers to rip their hair out by the roots,"Liberty is not just a word.Even the ACLU gets that." My own thinking is,I can't understand why more Conservatives do not agree with me on these issues.I'm not sorry if my positions make Conservatives uncomfortable.

Occupy Oakland is Unoccupied.UPDATED VERSION w/photos and added comments.

 By D.C.

New York's Mayor Bloomberg may not know how to deal with the Occupy Wall Street squatters in his city, but Oakland California's Mayor Jean Quan knew how to deal with the Obamaville hobo camp in front of her city hall. The title of this San Francisco Chronicle story begins to paint the picture,"Police clear Occupy Oakland camps, arrest 85".

Bill Ayers' speech to Milwaukee radical leftist group Rethinking Schools.(VIDEO)

By D.C.

Last August,I learned that Bill Ayers ,on October 15th,was coming to town to give a fundraiser speech for the Milwaukee based, radical leftist group,Rethinking Schools.I could care less about Ayers,I know what he is,but I wanted to learn about this group of radical leftists who would want to host him.

Mr.President,Go right ahead and sow your lot with this crowd.

By D.C.

Sometimes you open a newspaper,or a page on your computer, and you see a headline that tells the whole story. In this case,it tells me that officially the Occupy Wall Street freak show has jumped the shark. This nugget of comedy gold comes from the L.A. Times,"Occupy Wall Street protesters serenaded by Pete Seeger".

Bird's of a feather.

By D.C.

When New Jersey governor Chris Christie endorsed Mitt Romney for president,it pretty much finished killing off the legends of Christie's mythical conservative street cred.It just proved what I have known all along,Christie is just another northeastern, big government,RINO.Which is why Romney was more than willing to accept the Christie endorsement because he is a northeastern, big government,RINO too.

Did the world really end on Friday and we just didn't notice?

 By D.C.

Some crazy preacher claimed that yesterday,Oct.21,would be the end of the world. When I woke up this morning,I felt lucky that the world didn't end. Then I read New York Times' columnist Joe Nocera's piece,"The Ugliness All Started With Bork ",and knew that in fact something earth shattering must have happened on Friday.

President Obama's "choices" have not been the "right" ones.

By D.C.

 ABC's Jake Tapper got one of those "exclusive" interviews with President Obama during a campaign stop in North Carolina.Tapper asked the President some questions about the economy and the challenges of his re-election campaign.In the middle of one the President's bloviated answers to a question about the 2012 campaign,he offered this much talked about quote;

Dr.Paul explains our illness.

By D.C.

Presidential candidate,Congressman Dr.Ron Paul has this column today in the Wall Street Journal,"Blame the Fed for the Financial Crisis".In it,he explains how the Federal Reserve (and government policy) is at the root of the nation's fiscal illness. It is a must read for those who are interested in how government monetary policy negatively effects a free market economy.

Best news story of the day!

By D.C.

The best news story of the day,or at least the funniest one I read today, comes from Yahoo News' The Ticket blog,"President Obama's Teleprompters Stolen".

The numbers don't lie.

By D.C.

A poll conducted by USA TODAY/Gallop last weekend has some interesting results.I'm sure the reason they conducted this poll was to show that the "Occupy Wall Street" movement is gaining traction among the American people.I don't they got the results they wanted. Here's the USA TODAY story,"Poll: Washington to blame more than Wall Street for the economy."

Driving around Wauwatosa.

By D.C.

As we often do,on Sunday,my husband and I visited his elderly mother, who lives on the northwest side of Milwaukee. After we enjoyed a nice lunch, the Packers' game and my husband fixed a broken light switch,we headed back home to Oak Creek.

The most painful of procedures. (Hint:It's the Brewers.)

By D.C.

Waterboarding, the controversial interrogation procedure,is said to cause those subjected to it extreme mental duress.I have never been ran over by a dump truck, but I imagine it would be extremely physically painful.

I'm not on the Iran bomb plot bandwagon yet.

By D.C.

Many Conservative commentators have been quick to jump on the "Iranian bomb plot to kill the Saudi ambassador to the US" story bandwagon, citing this as another example of Iran's evil intentions.(Take a read of the Wall Street Journal.)

They say this is akin to an act of war and at least make the implication we must take military action against Iran for this.If the story is true, then perhaps it is an act of war.I question the truth of the whole thing.

Rethinking Schools:A shocking look into what is being taught in urban public schools.

Due to the upcoming Rethinking Schools' fundraiser on Oct.15th I am re-posting this piece.Originally posted Aug.28,2011.
By D.C.

Normally,I do not write about Wisconsin specific issues. But after learning (from Mark Belling on his WISN radio show) that Bill Ayers would be the featured speaker at an Oct.15th fundraiser for the Milwaukee based group "Rethinking Schools" and knowing Ayers' history as a left wing terrorist,I thought it would be worth a look into this group. What I found out from Rethinking Schools' own website was both shocking and very disturbing.

Elder scolds Obama,Coulter scolds the Mob,Malkin scolds the Astroturf.

By D.C.

Talk radio host Larry Elder scolds the President this week in his column,"Obama scolds nation:You've gotten soft".Elder lays out Obama's failures. It is very good.

The Fibber in Chief is at it again.

By D.C.

After Obama's latest news conference,AP looked into some of his claims,"Fact Check:Obama claims miss some evidence." In this interesting piece,AP points out the President was "less than accurate" in some of his statements about congressional Republicans, bipartisanship, taxes, job creation and China.Pretty much everything he talked about in the press conference. The only surprising thing about this story is that AP actually reported it.

Hermanator flys high,Perry crashes and burns.

By D.C.

This new Zogby poll shows Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain jumping out to a 20% point lead over his other Republican rivals and beating Obama 46% to 44%.He is the only Republican beating Obama in the poll.

By D.C.

This is for you liberals who think I find no enjoyment in life.

By D.C.

I take no credit for this, but I did enjoy it.

World's best argument for leash laws or I'll have a # 7 with dog fried rice.

By D.C.

The following story makes two strong points.Point #1:Keep your dog on a leash,in a fenced yard or inside. Point #2 You never know what you are eating unless you cook it yourself from scratch. I offer a warning to those dog lovers among us (which I am one),you might find this story very disturbing.

This is one book you can judge by it's cover.

By D.C.

Much to the delight of my readers this may be my shortest blog post ever. From the L.A.Times,"Obama says Americans aren't better off under his watch".

More liberal hypocrisy.Where is that darn free market when you need it?

By D.C.

Here is a real gem of a story from the L.A.Times,"Debit card fees: Dick Durbin: Bank of America customers should 'vote with their feet'." The story is basically about Bank of America saying they are going to begin charging debit card users a $5 monthly fee.The reason is because of government regulations that they say will cost B of A around 2 billion dollars a year.Sen.Dick Durbin is one of the primary authors of the legislation that created the regulations.

I'll take my chances on Powerball

By D.C.

In the print edition of Time magazine this week, they have a short piece on "What to stop spending your money on." One of the things they say is a waste of money is lottery tickets. One reason they cite is that a persons chance of winning Powerball is 1 in 195,249,054,but the chances of being killed by a meteor falling from space is 1 in 700,000.
