Cain is out,Bachmann is back.

 By D.C.

 This story from The Hill today,"Undeterred,Cain says he must win Iowa",at least gives me some hope that somebody in Herman's campaign might actually have a brain."Cain says he must win Iowa",Duh.

 The story quotes a fundraising email sent out by the Cain campaign.First,I am glad that Herman has figured out that he needs to raise money in order to run for president.Here,The Hill quotes the Cain email;
"Already they are running negative ads against me on TV," Cain said of his opponents. "They are attacking me through the media. It's getting ugly out there. But I'm not deterred."

Cain said the attacks against him are from Republicans, Democrats and members of the press, and that he must "win Iowa!"
"My opponents already have millions of dollars in the bank that they plan to use to blanket Iowa with negative ads," Cain continued in the email. "My campaign must be prepared to defend itself and to get our positive message out."
 What a revelation.Cain has also figured out that he needs to win Iowa in order to be the Republican nominee.I was wondering if he knew this considering last week he was campaigning in,of all places,Alabama.A state that has zero influence in the primaries.

 Maybe while Herman's campaign manager (who should be unemployed right now) was on national TV making a fool out of himself and his candidate,Herman had some time alone to think these things through.Thinking things through has not been a hallmark of the Cain campaign.

 Perhaps Herman just asked somebody,other than any of his idiotic campaign staff,why all the other candidates were spending so much time in Iowa.

 All this really doesn't matter though,I have known that Cain was not a serious candidate for a month now.It's a real shame Herman suckered us Conservatives into getting our hopes up.If Herman was a serious candidate he would have fired his entire staff two weeks ago and paid out the necessary money to hire a seasoned,professional staff.Right now,there is nothing professional about his campaign.

 I know some of you would say that the anti-establishment,unorthodox campaign of Cain's is the reason for his appeal.That is well and good but without a staff of professionals who know what they are doing,Cain will not win anything.I don't think Cain wants to win anything anyway.I think he just wants to sell books.I so badly wish he would prove me wrong.

 I'm sorry I am so negative about Cain,but watching the total meltdown of his once promising campaign has been,to say the least,extremely disheartening.

 There is an old saying that goes something like this,ride out on the horse you rode in on.In that spirit,I would like to apologize to Michele Bachmann that I abandoned her and ask for forgiveness.From here on out Michele,you have my loyal support.At least until a story comes out you sexually harassed someone.

 The real shame is that we Conservatives can only dream about the ideal candidate while the Republican establishment shoves the next guy in line,Romney,down our throats.Again.
