This L.A.Times story,"Democrats drive drop in support for healthcare law in new poll",cites a new poll that shows over half of Americans now have an unfavorable view of Obamacare. What a shock. The supposed "big news" part of this story is a significant drop in support for socialized healthcare among Socialists, excuse me,I mean Democrats. That is not the "big news" part of the story, this is the "big news".
The Kaiser Family Foundation poll shows that 11% of Republicans have a favorable view of Obamacare, and that is down from last months 14%.What? Who are these Republicans? Mitt Romney supporters? People who vote for Olympia Snowe? Like Reagan Democrats are these Obama Republicans?
Just the thought of an Obama Republican makes your head spin.I guess one could be Peggy Noonan, the Wall Street Journal's Conservative version of Maureen Dowd, with her on again, off again love affair with the President.
I think I could conduct a poll that shows 11% of Americans are in a constant state of confusion.I could probably also show that 11% of folks are idiots.Using these theoretical poll numbers I could show that these confused idiots, who generally tend to be Democrats, are merely mistaken that they are Republicans.
Considering the Kaiser poll shows 34% of Americans overall have a favorable view of Obamacare,I can safely say that one third of the population are confused idiots. This is actually good news because the number of American confused idiots is down from the 53% who voted for Obama in 2008.
