More Global Warming Hoaxes and Hucksters.

 Here is a nugget from the Pittsburgh Post Gazette,"PSU professor's climate work wins 1 of 9 Heinz Awards".Yes,the Heinz Awards are given away by Teresa Heinz,wife of failed presidential candidate Sen.John Kerry-Heinz. The award is $100 grand cash and a medal.You always have to get the medal.It's her money,she can give it to anybody she wants.

 The Penn State professor,Richard Allen,this article is about is one of the global warming kooks.Allen,a UW Madison alum,has some theory of how "climate change" can happen rapidly and not slowly as many scientists thought.He proved this by showing the last ice age came to an end in only 3 years rather than 100's or 1000's of years.

 The last ice age,by what the science says,came to an end around 12,000 years ago.

 Here are a couple paragraphs from the story;
 "Mr. Alley, 54, is credited with breaking open the field of "abrupt climate change," having found that it took only a three-year period for the last Ice Age to come to a halt.

His discovery came as part of a team taking polar ice core samples 2 miles deep in Greenland and Antarctica, and studying them for evidence of climate history. His findings debunked the notion that climate change only happens very slowly, suggesting that such changes may arrive more rapidly than previously thought, especially due to the burning of fossil fuels."

 OK,lets work this out logically using their science.The last ice age ended roughly 12,000 years ago.The ice age came to an end due to global warming.We have never had another ice age since then,so the earth has either been warming or warmer than during the ice age.While quite ingenious in crafting wooden spears,cave men had not yet invented the SUV 12,000 years ago.

 Come now,these are all facts here.Let's continue.So,the earth has been warmer in the last 12,000 years than it was before then.Since the beginning of the industrial revolution we have burned fossil fuels for energy.Let's agree that is the past 200 years beginning with burning coal.The cave men finally invented the automobile roughly a 100 years ago.

 According to the global warming kooks,all the supposed global warming going on these days is caused by the burning of fossil fuels.Now,we need to use some rather complicated math here.Stick with me here,this is science folks.12,000 years ago minus 200 years ago equals 11,800 years.

 I would like Professor Allen,who believes that modern global warming is caused by the burning of fossil fuels over the last 200 years,to explain to me what caused the other 11,800 years of warming then?

 I guess if I was getting $100 grand cash prizes,I'd come up with some phony baloney answers too.
